What EngageDraft is
EngageDraft is a web app for CPAs, enrolled agents, and independent tax preparers. You enter a client's details and the services you are providing, and it drafts an engagement letter in about two minutes, designed around AICPA guidelines, Circular 230 and IRC §7216. You review and edit the letter, send it to the client for e-signature, and track whether it has been viewed, signed or declined from one dashboard. Signed PDFs are stored and downloadable.
Your first 3 letters are free, then plans are $20 per month, $54 per quarter or $200 per year, with unlimited letters.
EngageDraft is not practice management software, tax preparation software, or a client portal, and it does not integrate with tax software. Letters are a starting point for your professional review, not legal advice.
Who builds it
EngageDraft is operated by OLIVEWOOD CO LLC, a Florida limited liability company. It is built by a small, independent team that works directly with the practitioners who use it. Replies to our emails go to the people who build the product, not a ticket queue. Questions or feedback: support@engagedraft.com.
